What is God saying to the Church in these extraordinary days? How do we help people respond to the challenges of Covid-19?

Where is the Christian response to climate change and its effect on our planet?

The annual District Ministers’ Conference is taking on a different shape this year as we take time to reflect on two of the biggest issues facing us in the coming years.

For all of us, the Coronavirus lockdown has affected how we are able to relate to church worship and how we are able to offer support to our communities. Many of our evangelistic strategies have had to be rethought or given new shape - often online.

The Methodist Conference, supporting a call from 3Generate, has urged us to take seriously our responsibility as stewards of God’s Creation.

For two days - January 26th and 27th 2021 - the annual ministers’ conference will move online and we aim to be provoked and challenged by leading thinkers around Church and Covid as well as Eco Church.

The conference will take place on Zoom with space for reflection, worship, theological thinking ... and coffee!
