Our friends in the Plymouth & Exeter District are hosting a zoom workshop with Paul Courtney and have opened the invitation to us to join:
As we emerge from the pandemic our churches and worshipping communities are more important than ever in serving those around us, brining hope and sharing the good news of the Gospel. But our buildings and projects need funds to make it all happen! This interactive online workshop will help equip churches to maximise all opportunities when it comes to raising funds from a range of sources.
Topics will include -
- Planning for success
- Telling our story (so that people will listen!)
- Who can give?
- Asking well
- Long term support and stewardship
Delivered by Paul Courtney, Director of Kairos Fundraising Solutions and Funding Advisor for the PEMD. Paul have been a fundraiser and trainer for 20 years working with many charities, cathedrals and churches right across the UK. As a Methodist Local Preacher and Worship Leader he is passionate about churches being properly equipped and resourced to impact their communities with the message of the Gospel.
