Faith Security Training
Faith Security Training: Christian Supports places of worship and associated faith community centres to strengthen their security knowledge, improve preparedness, and reduce the risk of hate crime and other serious incidents.
Please do consider this training, as sadly over recent months we have become aware of tragic incidents in places of worship and specifically in churches. It wasn’t that long ago Sir David Amess, the MP was killed at a surgery taking place in a Methodist Church.
Colleagues in Poole Bay Circuit have allowed us to use a Developing a Simple What if Security Plan. Your Circuit Safeguarding will have the document if you would like a copy.
Methodist Insurance also have guidance: ‘Personal Safety Plan for Church People’ to help avoid situations of risk or potential harm.
