All worship leaders and local preachers are welcome to attend this training day, and of course, it is essential training for those who will serve as local tutors and mentors. There is no need for prior teaching experience and all accredited preachers and worship leaders are encouraged to attend.
In the morning we will explore the various elements of the course and familiarise ourselves with the online environment. In the afternoon, tutors and mentors will meet separately to focus more specifically on the skills and approach for their roles and how best to support learning as a tutor and mentor. We will work through exercises from the course to illustrate how things work and how it will feel to participate as a student in Worship: Leading and Preaching.
There will be lots of time for questions, and even for complaints and suggestions.
All the resources for the day, along with refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. There is no charge, but it would be very helpful if you could book your place as early as possible
There are currently two days planned 17 November 2018 at Weymouth Bay Methodist Church and 2 November 2018 in the Ashford, Kent area.
