Pioneer Minister in The East Solent and Downs Methodist Circuit.
The East Solent and Downs Methodist Circuit are seeking to recruit a full time Pioneer minister (Lay or Ordained) to work in the north of the Circuit, initially focusing on the new housing development in Bordon. In Bordon, the Pioneer Minister will work as part of the team at the shared church of St Mark’s (Anglican, Methodist, URC). The person appointed will have a mature Christian faith and a proven ability at effectively communicating with and making disciples of those normally outside of the church. There is funding for this post for three years with a review in year two in the expectation that funding will be extended for a further two years. The starting salary is £25,824. The minister will be required to live in accommodation provided by the Circuit. A satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the DBS is required for this post.
