Dear Lay Worker,
...admin assistant, CYF worker, community, digital, outreach, pastoral....and any other lay church worker we may have missed off.
We would like to invite you to 'The Staffroom', an online space for lay workers.
We'll be meeting twice a month. There will be time for worship, micro-learning and connecting with other lay workers. Each Staffroom will last no more than 45 minutes, although of course you are welcome to come and go as you please, as you would in a real staffroom.
We will also be sharing details of our Padlet for lay workers during these sessions (a virtual noticeboard).
We've spent a lot of time listening to lay workers in the Autumn to find out what is needed. It is our hope that this will help you stay connected and informed. To that end, please feel free to pass this onto any lay workers you are connected with. The more the merrier!
In January we'll be looking at the issue of stress in our micro-learning time.
The times and days for each Staffroom do change (as there's no perfect time that suits everybody).
Our first 4 sessions are:
- 18th Jan at 7.30pm
- 24th Jan at 2pm
- 16th Feb at 10am
- 28th Feb at 7.30pm
