Joining in is really easy. Nearer the time there will be a carol sheet and an invitation on several websites which you can print off or download. Invite your neighbours to join in too. Then at 5:30pm on the 20th December tune your radio to Premier on DAB(or find it on Freeview 725, or on the internet or download the Premier radio app on your phone) and sing along to the carols they play. The whole country will hear the same carols at the same time so we might be singing on our own doorstep but we will be joining thousands or even hundreds of thousands of other people. How amazing would that feel? Put on your favourite Christmas jumper if you like, even bring along something to shake or rattle to the music. It won't matter what the restrictions are at the time, which Tier you are in, you can still join in. Even those who cannot stand on their doorstep can join in by sitting in their window with curtains pulled back singing along to their radio.
