On 13 June, a ‘Relay to COP26’ began from the location of the G7 in Cornwall, arriving in Glasgow the night before COP26 begins in November. This 1,000-mile journey of walkers is being coordinated by YCCN (Young Christian Climate Network). Along the way, churches are encouraged to support the relay, to join the walkers or to organise events for climate justice.
The Relay is in our District from 23-27 July as it proceeds from Salisbury to Winchester and on towards Reading. For opportunities to get involved, see and register at www.yccn.uk.
